So, AFCOE has come to an end. Words will never be able to describe the blessings we all experienced during that 3-month boot camp. Graduation was a sad and emotional night, yet we were all excited and looking forward to finishing the work GOD has prepared for every single one of us. As one of our friends said, “We came as individuals, left as a FAMILY!”
We don’t know when we are going to see each other again, but we WILL find each other on that sea of glass. We have this hope!
This is . . . AFCOE!
When we all get to heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be!
When we all see JESUS, we’ll sing and shout the victory!
It is all about heaven! A place where there is “no more night, no more pain, no more tears, never crying again. And praises to the great I AM. We will live in the light of the risen Lamb.”
For GOD “will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away” (Rev. 21:4).
As the evangelistic seminar had come to an end, we don’t know where we are going to see each other again, but we all promise that we will do on the other side when we stand on the sea of glass (Rev. 15:2).
Matthew 12:31, “Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.”
Do you realize that there is sin that is not unforgivable? It’s what we call the unpardonable sin. It is when we reject the HOLY SPIRIT; it is when you say reject CHRIST and say you don’t need HIM.
Repent therefore, and be baptized, for today is the day of salvation.
“Don’t find the truth in the church.
Find the truth in the Bible,
and then find the church that teaches the truth.”
We are now living in the postmodernism world. It is where most people have no absolute truth anymore, and everything is based on individual’s feeling and what feels good to them.
But GOD doesn’t leave HIS children alone. In the midst of false teaching, GOD’s absolute truth is from everlasting to everlasting.
How to identify? “Test all things” (1 Thess. 5:21) with the:
1. Authority of GOD.
2. Word of GOD.
3. Love of GOD.
4. Law of GOD.
5. Teachings of GOD.
John 10:14, 27
I AM the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own. My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.
Hundred forty-four thousand. What comes to mind? Literal or symbolic?
Well, the Bible doesn’t plainly answer that question, but I would say it’s symbolic. First, the book of revelation is full of symbols—dragon, beast, woman, mark, seal, etc. Second, this group of 144,000 comes from the 12,000 from each of the 12 tribes of Israel (Rev. 7:4-8). But as we know, these tribes are no longer exist, and thus this is a symbol of spiritual Israel.
No matter what arguments may come, the more important thing here is to make sure that we are part of the 144,000. Who are they?
1. Rev. 7:3; 14:1—They have the seal of GOD.
2. Rev. 7:1-4—They are protected from the harmful four winds of the earth.
3. Rev. 14:12—They are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.
How? It’s only by looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith (Heb. 12:2).
. . . let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, . . .
When you hear the word “7 plagues” in Revelation 16, what comes into your mind? Do you remember the 10 plagues in the old testament (Exodus 7-11)?
The 10 plagues in the days of Pharaoh happened because of rebellion against GOD’s command. Interestingly, the first 3 affected both the Israelites and Egyptians, but the last 7 only to the Egyptians.
Similar to the that, the 7 plagues in the end time will only affect those who rebel against GOD and receive the mark of the beast.
Rev. 14:9-10—If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, . . .
Rev. 15:1—Seven angels having the seven last plagues, for in them the wrath of God is complete.
I believe that GOD doesn’t want any to receive the mark nor the plagues. HE has given us the choice to receive the seal of GOD.
And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
